You will become a part of the UK Materials and Structural Analysis Field Service team, servicing Electron Microscopes. You enjoy being on the road and can expect to be travelling up to 30% of your time within the UK outside your normal geographic area.

What will you do?
1. Performing field service activities, including on-site installation, upgrades, preventive maintenance and system repairs
2. Solving a broad range of hardware and/or software problems of varying scope and complexity
3. Coordinating your own work schedule with direct colleagues, service operations and management
4. Training customers in the use of our instruments to ensure safe and effective customer operations
5. Providing proactive and adaptable technical telephone and email support, ensuring that our customers are successful using their instrumentation
6. Producing timely and accurate reports of your activities: service reports and expense reports
7. Assuring the highest level of Customer Experience to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty
8. Providing sales leads to account manager
9. Providing feedback to support teams for correcting system documentation and updating procedures
How will you get here?
10. Requires a minimum of a BEng, preferably a MEng degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or other applicable experience in a high-tech environment
11. You must be able to freely travel throughout Europe
12. Analytical trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities
13. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
14. Excellent interpersonal skills in English, verbal and written
15. Independent, service-minded individual who can converse with customers at all academic levels
16. Highly organized, self-sufficient and motivated individual who is adept at administration
17. Knowledge of Electron Microscopy equipment is an advantage
18. Clean Driving license required
