Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement youll need to be on track to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelors or Masters degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Maths or other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) degree.

Job Title: Undergraduate Submarines Electrical Engineer
Location: Barrow (Cumbria)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.
Salary: £24,300
What youll be doing:
Youll be part of a growing multi-disciplinary team, developing solutions to complex technical questions, and in-service upgrades, for existing and future Submarine platforms within the Engineering function.
• From requirements and control architecture develop instrumentation equipment selection, integration, test and through life support you will be embedded amongst experts in the control systems field.
• Contributing to high integrity designs with your base knowledge of electrical principals, control systems theory and/or knowledge of micro-electronics.
• Calculations to considered reports on component selection to designs for Human Machine Interfaces.
• Analysis of impacts on Control systems due to Engineering Change with focus on safe effective product.
