The function is well-embedded within the organisation and operates with full backing of the leadership team. Reporting into a forward-thinking Procurement Director, you'll help manage the Estates and Facilities Management (FM) category – a critical area with high visibility and impact. From day one, you’ll be trusted to lead tenders and influence key stakeholders across the University. This opportunity would suit someone with a background in public sector procurement who’s looking to broaden their experience and work on meaningful, tangible projects. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end procurement processes across Estates and FM, from tendering through to supplier management Run compliant and commercially sound tenders, including Frameworks Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers Develop and implement strategic category plans aligned with long-term objectives Experience & Requirements Strong procurement experience across the full lifecycle Knowledge of public procurement regulations (PCR2015, Procurement Act, OJEU, UCR etc.) Estates, Hard or Soft FM experience would be ideal – but not essential CIPS qualification is desirable, but not mandatory
