We are a small Church of England Primary School in the East Riding of Yorkshire, offering high quality education for all the children in our care. We have a friendly, hardworking team with a shared vision of high outcomes for all.
We are looking for an aspirational Class Teacher with a knowledge of Early Years to join us who can bring enthusiasm, creativity and have high expectations for our children. Appointment to this post will commence in the Spring Term, January 2026.

The School and Role Details
What the school offers its staff: We are a supportive school that offers training and CPD for all our staff. Our children are enthusiastic and hardworking. You will be passionate about improving both children’s attainment and standards of teaching and learning and have a strong vision and shared ethos that supports our values and culture.
In this role you are required to speak English with sufficient fluency to effectively perform your duties, as required by Section 42 of the Immigration Act 2016.
Safeguarding and Recruitment
The school has a commitment to safeguarding, and keeping children safe. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and alongside the completion of statutory training, this role also includes a statutory duty to adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
In line with statutory guidance: Keeping Children Safe in Education (2024), an online search will be carried out on all shortlisted candidates. Any employment in this role would be subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
