Administrative Assistant
Location: Harper Contracts (Insch) Ltd, Unit 3 North Road Industrial Estate, Insch, AB52 6XP
Contract: Permanent (3-month trial as standard)
Hours: Full-time preferred (negotiable for the right candidate)
Salary: Competitive, discussed at interview
About the Role
Harper Contracts (Insch) Ltd is a busy haulage, wood recycling, and wood pellet manufacturing company. We're looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to support our team. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to develop their skills within a supportive office environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming visitors and answering phone calls professionally
* Handling enquiries via phone, email, and in person
* Processing orders, invoices, and data entry
* Organising office tasks (filing, photocopying, scanning, supplies)
* Managing incoming/outgoing mail and parcels
* Assisting with deliveries, scheduling, and customer updates
* Providing general administrative support to management and colleagues
What We're Looking For
* A positive, can-do attitude
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
* Ability to work well in a small, busy team
* Computer skills (Sage and Microsoft Office) are an advantage, but training is provided
