The Role
As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a warehouse team and ensuring operational performance across rotating shifts. You will focus on delivering KPIs, maintaining compliance and Health & Safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across the site.
Rotating Shifts:
Week 1 2pm – 10pm Monday to Thursday, 1pm – 8pm on Friday
Week 2 6am – 2pm Monday to Thursday, 6am – 1pm on Friday
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and inspire a warehouse team to achieve performance targets.
* Oversee warehouse operations to ensure service levels and KPIs are consistently met.
* Drive a strong Health & Safety culture across all activities.
* Implement resource and capacity plans in line with operational demand.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency and operational excellence.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, transport, and contractors.
* Provide clear reporting and data-driven insights on performance.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in a warehouse/shift management role.
* Strong leadership and team development skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational ability.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation (IOSH desirable).
* A results-driven, adaptable, and resilient approach.
* Experience working with KPIs and operational reporting.
