Night Support Worker role at Home Group
Location: Whitehaven and surrounding areas
Employment: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)
Salary: £24,638 to £24,850 per year [pro rata for part time] plus benefits including a Health Cash Plan

Home Group is hiring Support Workers to support individuals and communities across Whitehaven and Copeland, helping those affected by mental health challenges to improve their wellbeing and achieve their goals.
Our service offers a blend of specialist health, social care, and community support, including drop-in services, local events, and short stay accommodation for people in crisis. Typical day as our Support Worker
* Assisting customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence and achieve the goals documented in their support plans.
* Helping with daily living activities such as meals, shopping, budgeting, tenancy maintenance and moving onto independent accommodation if able.
* Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
* Working closely with colleagues from other organisations to provide the best support when needed.

You bring
* Passion to support customers to live their best life, with attention to detail
* Experience of caring for others (in care roles or caring for family members/children)
* Ability to work on your own initiative, stay calm under pressure and be resilient
* Flexible, person-centred approach, able to listen to and understand individual needs
* Vehicle insured for business purposes (we’ll pay mileage)
