This is a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract Role. This is your chance to step in and play a pivotal role— bringing bold ideas to life and shaping the success of the next big category in the market. The Role As the Senior Product Manager you will lead product and range strategy whilst ensuring full delivery across 2 leading Customers. Key Responsibilities Shape and lead the seasonal product strategy using consumer insight, competitor benchmarking, and performance data to inform a winning range. Define and own the optimal structure of captions and SKU frameworks to meet sales and profit targets, in partnership with merchandising and commercial teams. Lead costing discussions with vendors and procurement to ensure ranges meet agreed margin targets and cost parameters. Create and present a robust and commercially-aligned product proposal that aligns with creative direction and meets customer expectations. Deliver and gain agreement on RRP proposals, while securing final pricing sign-off from customers. Oversee the development and delivery of branded and exclusive product lines for the seasonal greeting card offer. Build and execute seasonal range plans that support varying store formats and space plans, including range logic, price architecture, and in-store presentation. Candidate Requirements Significant experience in a P roduct Development or Retail Side Marketing/Commercial role – ideally within a fast-paced, design-led or FMCG environment. Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, from concept through to launch, with proven commercial delivery. Experience building and presenting product strategies and rationale across multiple product lines and seasonal cycles. Proven commercial acumen, with experience developing profitable product offers within defined KPIs and margin frameworks. Demonstrable skill in stakeholder management, supplier negotiation, and working cross-functionally to drive consensus. Capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering to tight, fixed deadlines – especially in high-volume trading periods. Confident making data-driven decisions and drawing insight from customer behaviour, sales analytics, and trend forecasts. Comfortable working at pace, adapting plans, and maintaining focus on the broader commercial goals while navigating daily challenges. Experience managing or influencing others, with a collaborative leadership style that supports team development and delivery. The category in which the role operates brings both challenges of leading NPD and Merchandising initiatives and requires a real “added value” environment where strength of character is key.
