The Role
As Director of Enforcement, Regulatory Services and Community Safety, you will lead a wide–ranging portfolio that plays a critical role in safeguarding our residents and improving their quality of life. This is a strategic leadership role with operational influence – guiding enforcement, regulatory and community safety services and shaping the delivery of our Community Safety Strategy.
Key priorities will include:
* Leading and delivering a proactive, intelligence–led approach to crime prevention and community reassurance;
* Driving innovation and efficiency across services, leveraging technology and new ways of working;
* Fostering effective partnerships to reduce anti–social behaviour, tackle youth crime, and protect vulnerable residents;
* Inspiring a high–performing, collaborative workforce that reflects our borough's values.
We're looking for a resilient, forward–thinking professional with substantial senior leadership experience in community safety, enforcement or regulatory services. You will bring a strong partnership ethos, a commitment to innovation, and a focus on evidence–led impact.

Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to be in the office a minimum of three days per week. There may also be occasional travel within or beyond the borough. We are committed to supporting reasonable adjustments for candidates with disabilities.
