Job Description
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead, coordinate, and inspect the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems (HVAC, piping, plant machinery) on site.
Core Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor technicians and subcontractors, assigning daily tasks and managing performance.
* Operational Oversight: Oversee installations (HVAC, pipework, plant) or maintenance programs (preventative/reactive) to ensure high productivity.
* Safety and Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., pressurized systems, HVAC).
* Project Coordination: Liaise between project managers, clients, and site teams to ensure project specifications are met and manage material availability.
* Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, conduct site audits, and identify productivity improvements.
