We're looking for a driven, experienced and passionate Project Manager to come join our growing translation agency as our newest team member.
Main purpose of job:
To implement all aspects of translation/interpretation projects, including coordination, organisation and financial control, and to maintain client satisfaction and all allocated project budgets at our targeted gross profit margin, while organising own workload and embracing teamwork approach in line with our ISO certified procedures.

We're a small award-winning growing translation agency, based in the heart of Glasgow. We provide B2B technical translation and localisation services globally. We serve the aviation logistics, medical, industrial manufacturing, e-com, construction and engineering with a personable translation service that's had us recognised nationally for our work. Your role:
Your role will be to work alongside our Project Management Team and Sales Team to ensure satisfaction. You'll be responsible for managing and leading all projects in an efficient manner to meet client's deadlines and within budgets, ensuring that all projects comply to our ISO17100 and ISO9001 certifications. You will be required to take responsibility for the quality of all work delivered by performing a thorough Quality Control check ahead of deliveries. Once you have established satisfaction and rapport with our clients, you will be responsible for maximising our business relations as the small and personable team that we are recognized as within the industry.

We're looking for someone who has proven experience in translation or project management; someone who is organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic, passionate about languages and culture and is eager to develop as a professional as part of a growing start-up- putting their fellow team members, clients and team of linguists at the heart of all they do.

· Project Management experience in the translation or multi-lingual multi-media industry (preferable).
· Client relationship, engagement, management experience and experience of managing higher value contracts and clients.
· Must be driven and passionate about client service delivery and have very high levels of attention to detail.
· Must be a minimum of degree educated
· A collaborative worker – experience of working in a small team environment.
· Nice to haves: Another language, experience of working abroad, significant international travel or any translation related experience.
· Take ownership of client projects under supervision of the Management team
· Manage time effectively – always ensuring that all of our client projects are delivered on or before deadlines agreed with our clients.
· Manage a high number of suppliers, competing demands, key milestones, projects on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for a range of our clients ensuring all agreed deadlines, quality requirements and budgets are met and exceeded.
· Communicate effectively (verbal & written) and professionally with our clients and your team of linguists at all times ensuring that our clients are kept updated on the status of their projects. A high degree of strong rapport building as part of our client relationship management is essential and you will be responsible is setting and managing regular phone calls and Teams face to best take care of our clients needs.
· Ensure project resources maintain a high level of quality and professional and ethical standards.
· Proof, check and format documentation when translators deliver final translated documents with a high level of attention to detail before delivery to our clients takes place.
· Proactively lead the identification of any potential issues and resolve and close identified gaps before they arise approaching management and our clients with well thought through solutions.
· Show evidence of taking ownership of assigned projects and/or tasks to ensure success working closely with management and your team, providing daily updates on the progress of your projects.
· Maintain client satisfaction and excellent customer service going above and beyond when required.
