Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of capital and maintenance planned projects across a diverse commercial property portfolio across North Yorkshire. The role involves cost forecasting, contract management and ensuring value for money across all stages of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage cost forecasting, budgeting and value reconciliation.
* Administer contracts and subcontracts, including change control and final accounts.
* Support procurement and supply chain management.
* Provide commercial advice and ensure compliance with governance and legal standards.
* Collaborate with project teams, clients and stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
* HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline.
* CSCS card (or willingness to obtain).
* Strong commercial understanding of civil engineering operations.
* Excellent knowledge of NEC and other standard construction contracts.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across North Yorkshire.
