Solicitor (2-4 years PQE) – Residential Conveyancing
Location: Glasgow (hybrid)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am – 5pm)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to work within our Residential team based in Glasgow.
Candidates must have client care skills, the ability to work in a team as well as independently and have good levels of initiative and motivation. Experience as a Solicitor in the Residential Property Sector is essential to include managing your own caseload in a fast-paced environment from initial instruction to completion and covering all aspects of residential transactions from purchasers, sales, transfer of title, refinancing, title examination and drafting. Candidates should have appropriate technical knowledge and knowledge of compliance policies.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic office environment with excellent paralegal support and first-rate IT systems in place.
Role Requirements:
The firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to manage a caseload of residential property transactions, guiding clients through the conveyancing process from instruction to settlement.
Experience:
* Scottish qualified solicitor with conveyancing experience
* Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
* Experience handling residential property transactions through to completion
Skills:
* Attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused approach
* Excellent client communication skills with an empathetic manner
* Confident working independently whilst contributing to team objectives
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices
