Rate:£60PH via an Umbrella company
Duration: 6-months likely to be extended

Are you an experienced Mechanical Architect looking for a new challenge? This dynamic company has an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to join their team as a Missile Mechanical Architect.
About The Role
As the Missile Mechanical Architect, you will be responsible for gathering and managing the missile mechanical architecture requirements to achieve optimal missile performance, on time and on budget. This involves providing justification of the design and coordinating the verification evidence of missile performance to support certification.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Establishing the Missile Airframe Task Requirements Specification (TRS) to ensure a structured and coherent mechanical response to the overall Missile TRS
* Managing the mechanical interface with the launcher
* Defining the optimal mechanical architecture for all missile variants, ensuring compliance with requirements
* Developing the overall proving logic for the validation of the Airframe
* Interfacing with and managing customer expectations throughout the development process
What We\'re Looking For
The ideal candidate for this Missile Mechanical Architect role will have:
* A degree-level education or equivalent, with 10+ years of relevant experience
* Strong technical expertise in missile mechanical design, including static and dynamic analysis, design for environment, and thermal management
* Excellent leadership skills and the ability to establish a clear engineering vision
* Experience in developing proving logic and managing the generation of compliance evidence towards Certificates of Design
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
