Quality and Consultancy Manager

Role Overview
The Quality and Consultancy Manager is responsible for the management of income streams for consultancy, including safety audits and mystery visits. The role is responsible for maximising income, encouraging growth and providing high quality service. A key part of the role will include travel with delivery of mystery visits across the UK and Ireland.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
General
* Manage, mentor, and support the Business Development Manager.
* Identify opportunities to maximise sales of all RLSS UK products and services and support charitable work.
* Control expenditure for all consultancy projects and services to achieve budget.
* Provide reports for the Senior Head of Commercial to present performance, risk and opportunity.
* Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 by complying with internal information governance policies and maintaining up-to-date documentation as part of RLSS UK’s compliance programme.
* Proactively participate in the Society’s equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives and training, and promote a culture of respect and inclusion for all staff and customers.
* To demonstrate and uphold the Society’s values and behavioural standards at all times.
Water Safety Consultancy
* Manage a sales strategy for water safety consultancy projects.
* Generate budgeted income through water safety consultancy projects.
* Manage relationships with key water safety consultancy clients and partners.
* Manage water safety consultants, including contracts of work.
* Conduct water safety consultancy as and when required, within the scope of experience and qualifications.
Swimming Pool Safety Audits
* Manage a sales strategy for swimming pool safety audits.
* Generate budgeted income through swimming pool safety audits.
* Seek opportunities for growth with existing and new swimming pool safety audit clients.
* Manage relationships with key swimming pool safety audit clients.
* Conduct swimming pool safety audits as and when required.
Mystery Visits
* Manage a sales strategy for mystery visits.
* Generate budgeted income through mystery visits.Seek opportunities for growth with existing and new mystery visits clients.
* Manage relationships with key mystery visit clients.
* Manage and monitor annual plan for mystery visits.
* Monitor performance of staff completing mystery visits.
* Conduct mystery visits throughout the year (at least 2 days per week).
Person Specification
Essential Relevant Experience, Skills and/or Aptitudes
* Confident and commercially minded.
* A passion for helping businesses perform well regarding safety.
* Strong communication skills, including building and maintaining relationships.
* Excellent management and teamwork skills.
* Good team player who works well under pressure, to deadlines, and effectively.
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
* Experience in line management.
* Be able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
* Have confidence using standard Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Operational experience in the swimming pool industry.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Relevant Experience, Skills and/or Aptitudes
* Experience managing safety in swimming pool.
* Experience of auditing.
