Position Overview
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a committed RMN or RNLD Nurse to work in a low‑secure mental health hospital located in the Ayr, Scotland area. The hospital provides care for male and female patients with mental illness and/or personality disorders.
Qualifications
Applicants must be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Duties
* Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
* Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
* Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
* Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
* At a more senior level, leading shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

Salary & Benefits
Salary is GBP36,176 – GBP41,953 per annum (DOE). 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (at commencement of employment). Permanent vacancies for both day and night shifts.
