Overall responsibility for profitability and performance of the dealership Reviewing daily sales, finance, and aftersales performance against targets Managing and coaching Sales Managers, Service Managers, and department heads Monitoring and controlling the dealership P&L, budgets, and overheads Ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and regulatory requirements Attending meetings with manufacturer representatives and senior group management Driving performance through sales strategy, stock management, and pipeline reviews Resolving escalated customer complaints and high-level operational issues Reviewing key KPIs and implementing action plans to improve performance Leading recruitment, team development, and succession planning across departments Ensuring strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue growth, and margin Required Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will certainly need to have previous experience in the motor industry, but what other skills and experience would be good? Whilst brand experience is preferred, it isn’t essential.
