We’re looking for an Environmental Manager to take the lead at our state-of-the-art Parc Adfer facility. What you’ll be doing As our Environmental Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things environmental on site. Working closely with the Plant Manager and the wider SHEQ team, you’ll ensure we meet and exceed environmental standards, while guiding and supporting the onsite team. You’ll also represent enfinium externally, liaising with local councils and the Environment Agency to maintain strong partnerships. Your role will include: Responsible for ensuring all environmental regulatory requirements and monitoring routines for the Waste to energy facility are met, which will include but is not limited to; ESA protocol for IBA, QAL2, QAL3 & AST for CEMS, extractive monitoring and water discharges off site. Manage specialist contractors and advise Operations Staff to ensure regular monitoring of the boiler water and steam chemistry to ensure optimum corrosion performance. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual ESG and KPI reports for senior management. Reviewing emissions data and advising on operational improvements. Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure statutory obligations are met. What you’ll bring Ideally a degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline, or significant experience in a regulatory/supervisory role. Strong knowledge of environmental compliance and monitoring processes. Excellent communication skills – you’ll be confident engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders. Knowledge of boiler water chemistry and treatment regimes is desirable.
