Skills: Routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP and RIP Network design experience aligned to customer requirement Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) Virtual Private Networking (VPN), IPSec and PKI/Certificate Authorities Network management protocols (SNMP, SSH, Syslog, ICMP) Virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, Linux KVM) Deployed communication systems in constrained environments The Job Supporting the development and delivery of ECRS Mk2 Radome and Radar equipment into aircraft Producing high- and low-level network designs to meet challenging requirements Building and configuring networked hardware and software solutions Integrating Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware and software Adhering to systems engineering best practice Fault finding and resolving issues in production environments Producing clear, concise technical documentation Collaborating within an agile team, including knowledge sharing and peer reviews Reporting progress and providing feedback to leadership Supporting deployments through occasional customer site visits Clearance Eligibility: BPSS SC required to start – subject to ITAR & UK Eyes Only.
