Senior Chef - Leisure Site | Winchester
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Hours: 5 days out of 7 | 40 hours per week | Mainly 9am-5pm with occasional evenings for events
We're recruiting a dynamic and experienced Senior Chef to lead the kitchen team at a well-established leisure site in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a fresh food kitchen in a respected venue with a strong local reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, service, and hygiene standards
Lead and develop the kitchen team, ensuring consistent quality and teamwork
Plan and execute seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and allergen management
Support catering for events and functions with tailored menu offerings
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fresh food environment
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Professional Cookery
Strong leadership and communication skills
A passion for food, creativity, and delivering high standards
Ability to manage kitchen budgets and maintain cost control
