Senior Category Manager – Fleet
Up to £80,000 Basic salary
Flexible hybrid working (1–2 days per week in the office, location-based)

Outsource UK is seeking an experienced Senior Category Manager (Fleet) to join a hybrid-based team in Chippenham/Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong procurement and category management expertise, particularly in fleet management, to take ownership of a commercial fleet portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage commercial fleets, hire cars, and company cars from a procurement perspective
* Develop and execute category strategies for fleet procurement
* Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and service levels
* Lead, coach, and support a small team with autonomy
* Understand technical specifications and apply this knowledge in procurement decisions
* Build strong relationships internally and externally
Skills & Experience Required:
* Extensive procurement experience, ideally within 3PL but not essential
* Technical understanding of fleet vehicles (not engineering level, but able to grasp specifications and requirements)
* Previous fleet portfolio management experience
* Strong category management skills
* Team leadership/line management experience
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
