SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Salford | November Start Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded and inclusive primary school in Salford, currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from November. This rewarding role runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through tailored one-to-one and small group interventions. The school has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and is widely recognised for its nurturing ethos and commitment to inclusive education. You’ll be joining a collaborative and welcoming team that values the essential contribution of support staff in pupil development. Key Responsibilities: Deliver focused support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering personalised learning activities Contribute to the creation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor pupil progress Adapt support strategies to meet the evolving needs of learners What We’re Looking For: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Previous experience working with children with SEN A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare Level 2 Safeguarding certification (or willingness to complete training) Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
