The Opportunity

As a Dell-focused Presales Consultant, you’ll shape modern datacentre and hybrid-cloud solutions for enterprise and mid-market customers. The company is a top-tier Dell Technologies partner with advanced credentials across servers, storage, data protection, and HCI.
What you’ll do
* Lead technical discovery, requirements gathering and solution design across the Dell portfolio (e.g. PowerStore, PowerScale, Unity XT, PowerMax, PowerProtect, VxRail, PowerEdge).
* Produce sizing, Bill of Materials (BoM), architectures, and customer proposals; present solutions and run demos/POCs.
* Act as a Technical Design Authority, creating clear design/build documentation and ensuring smooth handover to delivery teams.
* Use vendor and internal tooling for analysis and sizing; maintain accurate opportunity/quote records.
* Collaborate closely with Dell alliance teams and internal BDMs to progress opportunities and support campaigns.
* Stay current on new/differentiated technologies and share enablement across sales and technical teams.
What we’re looking for
* Proven pre-sales/solutions experience spanning on-prem, HCI, and hybrid-cloud architectures.
* Depth across the Dell Technologies datacentre stack (storage, servers, data protection, converged/hyper-converged).
* Strong customer-facing skills: translating business outcomes into technical architectures, storytelling, and objection handling.
* Solid documentation habits (HLD/LLD), with the ability to own technical governance through to handover.
* Familiarity with backup/DR patterns, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
* Helpful: Dell Technologies Proven Professional certifications (e.g., PowerStore/ PowerScale/ PowerProtect/ VxRail/PowerEdge) or equivalent vendor experience.
