Job Title: Multi-Trade Operative
Location: Nottingham and surrounding areas
Job Type: 7 months +

Daniel Owen is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor carrying out legal repairs on social housing properties within Nottingham. We are seeking experienced and professional Multi-Trade Operatives to join the team, working in a customer-facing role within occupied residential properties.
This is not your average construction role - our client places strong emphasis on quality, customer service, and professionalism. You'll be a key part of ensuring that customers receive the highest standard of service in their homes.
Role Responsibilities:
* Acting as the primary point of contact for customers in their homes
* Carrying out a variety of remedial works to a high standard
* Diagnosing and fixing issues directly or coordinating with the office and specialist trades
* Ensuring work is completed promptly, professionally, and with minimal disruption
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
* Representing the company with courtesy, punctuality, and professionalism at all times
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a multi-trade role or general construction
* Strong background in one or more of the following:
o General building
o Carpentry
o Plaster patching
o Painting
o Ceramic tiling
o Heating & plumbing (desirable but not essential)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Able to problem-solve and work independently
* Reliable, well-presented, and respectful when working in occupied homes
