Due to an uplift in volumes across our clients North West operations, we are looking to recruit multiple Class 1 Drivers to support ever increasing customer requirements.

Role Overview:
Class 1 HGV Driver - Store Deliveries & Trunking
Shift Pattern:
* 5 on & 3 off on a rotational basis (flexibility on this is possible)
* AM start times between 03:00 and 08:00
* PM start times between 15:00 and 20:00
Key Repsonsibilities:
* Delivery of roller-caged goods safely and professionally
* Completion of daily vehicle checks
* Reporting vehicle defects
* Maintaining communication with the transport office
* Providing excellent customer service
* Driving responsibly
* Operating tail lifts and moving roller cages into stores
* Adhering to site-specific delivery procedures
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred but not essential
* Valid LGV C+E licence
* Up to date CPC qualification
* Valid Tacho
* Good geographical knowledge of UK road networks
* Working knowledge of drivers' hours regulations and working time directives
* Ability to work independently
* Flexibility to undertake store delivery and trunking duties as required
