Role Outline:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, providing expert advice, and supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. The HR Advisor will be responsible for taking ownership and leading employment relations at various levels.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 09:00am-17:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
* Promote continuous improvement within the business.
* Support case management including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance matters.
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and best practices.
* Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection requirements.
* Contribute to HR projects including employee engagement.
* Provide HR reporting and support continuous improvement across HR processes.
* Manage HR KPI's.
* Conduct HR-related meetings and employment relation cases (as and when required).
* Work with the HR team to manage probation reviews and poor performance matters, and issue correspondence letters in a timely manner.
* Work with the HR team to manage all family related matters (e.g. maternity cases, paternity cases, etc).
* Manage staff absences and health related matters, including using Occupational Health (as and when required).
* Measure and audit the Company's health surveillance requirements.
* Continually monitor current processes and identify ways to improve these processes and systems (continuous improvement within the wider business).
* Manage a range of HR projects, which will include legal frameworks, staff engagement activities and other ad hoc projects.
* Take ownership for all HR administration for your designated areas of responsibility.
* Manage recruitment activities and inductions.
Person Specification:
* Previous experience of working as a HR Advisor or Officer (or the equivalent HR-related experience).
* Genuine interest in Human Resources, best practice, and improvement initiatives.
* Highest standard of written English and good proof-reading skills.
* Excellent organisation, communication, and inter-personal skills.
* Effective team member who is both flexible and dependable.
* Previous experience of working in a busy environment (ideal).
* Approachable personality and positive nature.
* Ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines (accurately and quickly).
* Ability to effectively multitask.
