* Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
* Respond to employee queries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
* Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
* Assist in the preparation of payroll reports for internal and external use.
* Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary updates.
* Support the implementation of new payroll systems or software as required.
* Ensure all payroll documentation is filed and stored in line with company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
