Northbrook College, part of the Chichester College Group. Exam Invigilator (Bank) [Ref: NBK5821]. £14.61 per hour. Variable Hours.
Role and Location
We are looking for assertive, intuitive individuals to assist with the invigilation of both online and paper-based examinations. The role will predominantly be based at our Shoreham Airport campus, although there may be some requirement to travel to our other sites, for example during the GCSE period. Although the majority of exams are held during normal college hours, some are held in the evenings, so flexibility is key. Invigilators should also be available ideally late May/early June to cover the GCSE period.
Responsibilities
* Assist with invigilation of online and paper-based examinations.
* Read/scribe for individual learners who have been evidenced as requiring additional support, in line with awarding body regulations.
* Undertake the College’s online mandatory training modules.
* Travel to other sites as required during GCSE period.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience of invigilation would be an advantage, however training will be provided.
* Commitment to flexible working hours, including evenings and late May/early June for GCSE period.
* Ability to support learners with concessions as per awarding body regulations.
