Vehicle Technician - HGV/LGV
Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 0UU
* Full time, with an alternating two-shift pattern

Since 1993, Vehicle Technical Services Limited has been a trusted name in commercial vehicle repair. Serving local businesses and national fleets, we operate as a fully independent HGV/LGV servicing and repair centre. Our services include full diagnostics, brake testing, and VOSA-approved tachograph facilities for all makes of vehicles. As a family-run business, we prioritise our team's growth and satisfaction.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician HGV/LGV, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and reliability of a wide range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Thoroughly examine all vehicles to assess safety and serviceability
* Diagnose faults and carry out permanent, high-quality repairs
* Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all makes and types of vehicles
* Complete service documentation to a high standard
* Report on vehicle condition and recommend necessary repairs
* Out-of-hours on-call work may be available

* Early shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

* Alternate Saturdays: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a skilled and dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. About you:
* At least three years of motor vehicle workshop experience
* A full UK driving licence (essential)
* An HGV license (highly advantageous)
