Responsibilities and Duties
As a Supply Chain Coordinator you will be a key member of our small, high-performing office team, providing essential support to ensure smooth operations. Reporting to the Office Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Maintaining and updating all accounts and sales orders using spreadsheets and our bespoke trading system.
2. Communicating effectively with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners regarding account queries, deliveries, and general inquiries.
3. Reprocessing and reconciling daily stock data, including participation in regular stock control checks.
4. Supporting the coordination of inbound and outbound logistics operations.
5. Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and service.
6. Purchasing Activities: Placing and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and booking all goods received onto our bespoke trading system.
7. Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels, reordering materials as needed, and participating in regular stock control checks.
