Birmingham City Council Housing Directorate is a Social landlord committed to providing high-quality housing services to our to tenants sheltered Housing. We are dedicated to improving the lives of our residents through the provision of excellent housing services in our neighbourhoods.
City Housing has just launched its new Housing Management structure that will see us developing even better relationships with our tenants by focusing on People, Place and Partnerships.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sheltered Housing Manager to join our team, to help drive and support the implementation of new ways of working across our stock profile of approximately 5000 homes.
We're looking for a dynamic leader to manage a team dedicated to Enabling our Vulnerable Older Tenants to live in a safe environment and sustain a quality life alongside managing their Tenancy, Antisocial Behaviour Investigation, and Enforcement whilst building a community within our sheltered housing schemes. This is a crucial role where you'll guide your team through an exciting service redesign, ensuring smooth transitions and effective operations.
As a key player, you'll directly and indirectly manage staff in accordance with BCC HR Policies and Procedures. Reporting to a Senior Service Manager, you'll be part of a collaborative team committed to excellence.

In this role you will be
accountable for ensuring that services meet our legal and regulatory responsibilities, achieve key performance indicators, drive continuous improvement, and ensure effective collaboration across the organisation and externally with partners to achieve our aims and objectives.

* Knowledge of Statutory and Regulatory requirements, relevant to housing management.
* A proven track record of delivering value for money, delivering cost reductions whilst improving service delivery.
