Senior Procurement Consultant – Water

£50,000 - £60,000 + Package + Rapid Progression
An established infrastructure consultancy is growing its procurement capability within the water and utilities sector and is seeking a Senior Procurement Consultant based in Peterborough.
This role will support major water programmes, delivering end-to-end procurement, category support, tendering and commercial management under NEC contracts. The successful candidate will work closely with utility clients and delivery partners, helping shape procurement outcomes across long-term AMP programmes.
This role is well suited to someone with:
• Procurement experience within water, utilities or civil infrastructure
• Hands-on experience working with NEC contracts
• Public sector procurement knowledge or regulated environment exposure
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing capability
• Ambition to progress within a consultancy environment offering clear development pathways
The opportunity offers strong procurement depth and continuity. The Senior Procurement Consultant will work across regulated procurement environments, supporting procurement strategy, sourcing activity, supplier engagement and NEC contract management throughout the lifecycle of major AMP programmes.
