Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor currently delivering works under the Heathrow Civils Maintenance Framework. The framework provides essential maintenance, repair, and improvement services across Heathrow Airport's civil infrastructure, supporting the safe and efficient operation of one of the world's busiest airports. As a Costing Assistant (Maternity Cover), you will play a key role in supporting the commercial and operational teams by ensuring that project costs are accurately recorded, allocated, and maintained. Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and finance teams, you will contribute to effective cost control and the timely reporting of project expenditure across a varied portfolio of maintenance and infrastructure works. Key Responsibilities Cost Management & Allocation * Maintain accurate and up-to-date project cost records across all active sites. * Chase, receive, and process allocation sheets from Site and Project Managers. * Allocate vehicle, plant, labour, material, and subcontractor costs to the correct project numbers within company systems. * Ensure all costs are accurately recorded and accumulated against relevant projects.
