We are currently seeking Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistants to join the school's supportive and professional team. The role will involve providing individualised support to pupils who may experience challenges with communication, social interaction, and physical mobility. Many students use alternative communication methods, and some will require personal care and physical assistance as part of their daily routine.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils' learning and development across the curriculum, following individual education plans (IEPs).
Assisting with personal care and mobility needs (training provided if required).
Promoting independence, engagement, and positive behaviour.
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
Candidates with Manual Handling training will receive an enhanced rate of £97 per day, reflecting the additional contribution to personal care support and physical assistance within the classroom.
