About the Role
Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for assessing existing SysML models, planning and executing model re-hosting using Enterprise Architect, and ensuring full data integrity, traceability, and compliance throughout the process. In this role, you will contribute to requirements engineering, system modelling, and lifecycle management, focusing on the left-hand side of the V-model to define and capture system requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and map requirements to internal engineering and delivery processes using DOORS v16.
Responsibilities
* Assess the current SysML model in the secure domain.
* Plan and execute the migration of the model into a commercial environment.
* Re-host and validate the MBSE model using Enterprise Architect tooling.
* Maintain full traceability and data integrity throughout the conversion process.
* Support requirements engineering, system modelling, and lifecycle management tasks.
* Work within the left-hand side of the V-model, focusing on early-stage system definition and requirements capture.
* Map system requirements to internal engineering and delivery processes using DOORS v16.
Qualifications
* Prior experience working in highly regulated or classified environments.
* Proven ability to deliver on MBSE activities in cross-functional engineering teams.
* Experience in defence, aerospace or communication sector is highly desirable.
* Hands-on experience within model migration or adaptation across different security domains.
Required Skills
* Strong expertise in MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering).
* Proficiency with SysML for systems modelling.
* Solid hands-on experience using Enterprise Architect (EA).
* Working knowledge of DOORS v16.
* Familiarity with V-model systems development.
Qualifications/Degree
* Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent experience within Systems Engineering.

* The role requires eligibility to work on UK Defence projects on site.
