HGV Technician Location: Saxham (Bury St Edmunds) – On-Site Workshop Salary: £43,871 overtime About the Role We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy on-site workshop in Saxham, supporting a fleet that keeps homes and businesses running across the UK. This permanent role involves maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing heavy vehicles, trailers, and plant equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. HGV Technician Responsibilities: Carry out maintenance, repairs, and inspections on HGVs, trailers, and plant equipment. Diagnose faults using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance and repairs. Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge. HGV Technician Requirements: Qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or proven practical experience in the industry. Knowledge of vehicle systems, trailers, plant, and workshop equipment. Strong diagnostic skills with a safety-first mindset. Team player with good communication and organisation skills.
