Enterprise Application Architect
Description of Role and Client: The Enterprise Application Architect will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive architecture frameworks for a major insurance organization. The client seeks a highly skilled architect to ensure strategic alignment and robust integration across key enterprise applications and services. This role falls inside IR35.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain enterprise-wide application architecture frameworks.
* Design strategic integration and API solutions for critical business applications.
* Ensure architecture solutions embed security, risk management, and compliance practices.
* Provide technical oversight for cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-premises integrations.
* Engage effectively with stakeholders across diverse technical and business teams.
Candidate Requirements / Profile:
* Significant enterprise architecture experience in insurance environments.
* Expertise in application integrations, APIs, and architectural frameworks.
* Knowledge of Oracle, Snowflake, data lakes, and extensive data warehouses.
* Strong skills in security, risk management, and compliance.
* Excellent stakeholder communication and engagement capabilities.
* Onsite attendance three times weekly at the client's City of London office; additional onsite presence as required.
* Contract duration: Initial 6-month term, with likely extension.
