A well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS/MCABE) to join its growing Manchester team.
The business delivers a broad range of commercial surveying and building safety projects across the UK and offers a strong pipeline of work, varied instructions, and clear progression opportunities within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering defect diagnosis and condition surveys across commercial assets
* Leading and supporting dilapidations instructions
* Managing project delivery including specifications, tendering and contract administration
* Undertaking technical due diligence
* Reviewing licences to alter
* Supporting reinstatement cost assessments alongside specialist teams
* Contributing to fire safety and building safety remediation projects
* Managing instructions from inception to completion while maintaining client relationships
Requirements
* Chartered xsngvjr status (MRICS / MCABE) - essential
* Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
* Strong commercial property experience
* Proven experience across professional services and project work
* Confident, client-facing communicator
* Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel where required
