Due to continued organisational growth and the onboarding of new employer clients, they are expanding their delivery team and are now looking to recruit two Meat & Poultry Tutors. While full-time positions are preferred, candidates seeking a part-time opportunity are also encouraged to get in touch to discuss flexible working options. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong industry experience, such as a butcher, meat processing professional, production supervisor, Specialist Skills Trainer or in-house trainer, who is passionate about developing people and supporting skills progression within the industry. You don't need to be an experienced tutor to apply; however, previous experience as a tutor, trainer or assessor would be highly desirable. Candidates with experience training, mentoring or supervising staff within a meat or poultry processing environment are strongly encouraged to apply, as full support and development can be provided. This role would also suit candidates currently working as a Specialist Skills Trainer, in-house Trainer, or as part of a Learning & Development or Training team within a meat or poultry processing environment, who are looking to move into a more formal tutoring, assessment or vocational training role. The role involves delivering both practical and theory-based training and assessment for vocational qualifications at Levels 2-3. You will work with learners in classroom settings and on-site within employer premises. Travel will be required across Northern Ireland, with the majority of work focused around Derry, Cookstown, Dungannon and Ballymena. While candidates can be based anywhere across NI, proximity to training centres in Derry, Strabane, Omagh or Cookstown would be advantageous.
