We are looking for a new employee to be based either in .
What a typical day looks like:
1. Lead and manage the UK Modular Solutions Technical Team, providing technical guidance, support, performing appraisals and managing holidays.
2. Manage performance of the Modular Solutions Technical Team and identify both individual and team areas of investment & improvement.
3. Manage resource allocation effectively to deliver the assigned tasks in a timely manner.
4. Participate in all aspects of ‘team’ development and mentoring to achieve ‘Engineering Excellence’.
5. Ensure Modular Solution compliance with all relevant industry standards and regional regulations related to electrical safety and modular construction.
6. Conduct internal design proposal review and approval, providing technical expertise where required.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales and project management, to develop integrated solutions.
8. Liaise directly with clients and company members to troubleshoot and resolve technical queries through electronic communications or face to face meetings, both in the office or on site.
9. Support the development of technical documentation, including test plans and operation and maintenance manuals.
10. Contribute innovatively with the Quality & Engineering Systems departments to improve business best practice.
11. Help drive continuous improvement activities within engineering/technical.
12. Promote proactive risk identification, mitigation and resolution.
13. Report to the Head of Technical UK.
The experience we are looking to add to our team:
14. Relevant engineering qualifications (BEng/MEng/CEng are preferred) or comparable industrial experience.
15. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in exposure to Modular Solutions.
16. An understanding of relevant international standards and regional regulations is essential.
17. An Exceptional Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skill set.
18. Ability to interpret product standards, component technical information and technical drawings.
19. Excellent personnel management & pro-active, practical & flexible approach to work.
20. Excellent interpersonal, communication skills; verbal, written and presentational skills are essential.
21. A valid full driving license is required, with occasional travel as needed.
22. Eligibility to work in the UK.

23. AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud Docs software experience
