A leading global financial services firm is seeking an experienced Company Secretary to join its EMEA Company Secretarial team for a 12 month period. This is a high-impact role providing end-to-end company secretarial support across a large portfolio of entities, primarily in the UK with additional coverage across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Company Secretary for a portfolio of regulated and unregulated entities and board committees, including PRA and FCA-regulated boards.
Serve as a key point of contact for Chairs and non-executive directors; prepare annual governance calendars, board agendas, and meeting packs.
Advise directors on corporate governance best practices, including inductions, duties, and conflicts management.
Minute meetings to UK listed company standards; support board effectiveness reviews and governance reporting for annual reports.
Oversee regulatory filings and advise on entity restructurings, refinancings, and liquidations.
Collaborate with and support the global teams on entity management, KYC queries, documentation, and governance processes.
Contribute to strategic governance initiatives, including process improvements and training.Requirements:
Qualified Company Secretary with 10+ years’ experience in a high-performance environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience supporting senior executives and non-executive directors.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Familiarity with Blueprint and Boardvantage is advantageous.
