Key Responsibilities As a Band 7 Sonographer, you will be responsible for: Undertaking a broad range of ultrasound examinations, with a primary focus on obstetric scanning. Delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in line with professional and clinical standards. Producing accurate diagnostic images and comprehensive written reports. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support effective clinical decision-making. Ensuring ultrasound equipment is used safely and appropriately, arranging servicing, calibration, and maintenance as required. Maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with local policies and professional guidelines. Complying with health and safety regulations and infection prevention procedures. Participating in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance clinical expertise. Person Specification Essential: HCPC registration. Minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience as a Sonographer. Proven experience in obstetric ultrasound scanning. Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach.
