Kind World Collective is recruiting on this role for LightEn
Project Manager, Content
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced project manager to provide administration and design support for content projects at LightEn, including the Library of Light and the Theosophical Society library. As an expanding global foundation, this is a new role that will support the Chief Content Officer (CCO) in the development of content that puts experience first. We anticipate launching our new website by 2026, and this role will be instrumental to the provision of new content creation, with primary focus on our physical and digital libraries.
This is a hybrid role, based in the Hampstead area of London, requiring a minimum of two days per week onsite.
In addition to supporting the CCO, the Project Manager, Content, will regularly coordinate with the Project Manager for our publishing arm, the Theological Society Library Curator, and the in-house legal team on many aspects of their work.
Library of Light
The Library of Light serves to create opportunities for understanding and experiencing embodied wisdom. The curation of our content represents a diversity of traditions, approaches, and practices, and it also reflects the unfolding paths of our team and community. We make all LightEn content freely available, and are working behind the scenes to offer as many full texts of the books as possible. Along with our new website, we will be relaunching the Library of Light in 2026. From audio and digital books to meditations, sound, and movement practices (and more), the intention is to relaunch the library with a creative and unique focus on the experience and application of transformative wisdom teachings. The project manager will be instrumental to the co-creation and delivery of this emerging offering.
Theosophical Society Library
In 2023, LightEn commenced a project to conserve and digitise the library of the Theosophical Society in England & Wales (TSE), of which we have become the custodian. The earliest library of the Theosophical Society in England was formed in July 1888 and the current collection is one of the most significant offerings on Theosophy and related esoteric currents. Digitisation of a significant portion of the 6,500+ items is well underway, with a view to enabling anyone in the world to access this unique and vast resource. The project manager will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of this historic resource, and in coordination with the TS Library Curator, will help to design and create content that illuminates the wisdom contained within.
