An Daras Trust are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to offer 1:1 support for pupils with EHCPs. Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will:
· Have experience of working with primary aged children.
· Have experience of working with children with additional needs.
· Be resilient, have a calm, patient approach and positive attitude.
· Be able to develop the children's knowledge through support and encouragement in the learning activities undertaken within the school and evaluate their effectiveness.
· Be a team player and communicate effectively
· with staff and parents.
· Be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children.
· Be able to use judgement and initiative in determining appropriate interventions.
