We’re working with a thoughtful, design-driven practice in North London—one that balances creativity with practicality, and genuinely cares about doing things well. Their focus is mainly within the Commercial and Industrial sectors, but what really sets them apart is their deep-rooted commitment to sustainable architecture and a culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and integrity.
They’re looking for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant—someone who’s not just technically capable, but who really wants to be involved. If you're someone who sees design as problem-solving and thrives in an environment where ideas are shared, challenged, and refined as a team, this might be a really good fit.
What you’ll be doing as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
Working closely with senior designers on concept development and detailed design
Producing 3D models, visualisations, and technical drawings
Being involved in planning applications and helping navigate regulations
Attending site visits, project reviews, and client meetings
Supporting presentations and research that feed into meaningful designKey Requirements as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
RIBA Part 2 (or equivalent) and a portfolio that reflects both creativity and clarity
Experience with Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and a general comfort with design tools
A good grasp of UK building regs and planning systems
A collaborative mindset, solid communication skills, and the confidence to ask good questions
