Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:
We currently have a casual/relief opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our support team in East Kilbride. A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
You will be required to work in a flexible and customer-led manner that meets needs and preferences of people we support, enabling them to live the life they choose.
This role will be supporting a gentleman with acquired brain injury in his home and daily life.
This will be primarily social activities support however does include some light housekeeping duties.
Hours available will generally be during the following times - Weekday shifts 11.30am - 6pm, Saturday 12pm-5pm
We are seeking applications from those who also enjoy activities, the gentleman we support likes swimming, chess, drives to the coast, cinema, cooking, museums amongst others. You should have a good sense of humour, commitment and consistency to building a good rapport is essential.
