An exciting opportunity for an experience leader in architecture, to take up a key role in the London office of a highly respected, top AJ100 practice.
The Company
Our client are an established architectural practice with multiple offices across the UK. Their project portfolio is diverse and includes civic buildings, hotels, residential schemes, commercial projects and public projects.
They are often trusted with some of the most prestigious projects in the UK and internationally due to their ability to understand the context of building within it's local surroundings.
They work on project across all work-stages and have a large portfolio of high-profile, built projects.
In addition to working on exceptional projects, the company have a real focus on staff wellbeing. They have several measures in place such as flexible start/finish times, 2 days working from home per week and many family-friendly policies.
The Role
You will be joining the practice as either a Partner or Associate Partner, depending on your experience level.
The Partner role is varied, and will involve overseeing projects, maintaining and further developing client-relationships, managing/overseeing staff and a range of other things.
An example of something you might be doing – as partner in the London studio, a prestigious client (repeat customer) may have a new project they would like the practice to work on. You would meet the client, take the brief and act as the ultimate project leader, putting the team in place, distributing the work-load and ensuring the smooth running of the project.
The company are employee owned and have a reputation for having an excellent work-life balance. You will be involved in making strategic decision and providing input and advice on both the people/practice side of the business, as well as the projects.

Requirements
* A degree in architecture (or similar) and significant experience working in a UK-based architectural practice.
* Experience of working at an Associate, Associate Director, Director or Partner level role.
* Client facing and able to develop good relationships with both new and existing clients.
* A good project manager who has experience of leading a team to see projects through completion.
* Experience across a range of UK-based projects. Any experience leading a team on projects with a challenge e.g. in contextually sensitive areas, listed buildings, elements of conservation or any aspects that make a project challenging would be beneficial
* Confident taking a brief from a client and running the project
* Ambitious, intelligent and an all round friendly person will feel right at home in this practice
