At Job&Talent, we are recruiting Shunter drivers to work with an important company in the Worksop.
Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday 22.00-06.00
Pay Rates
£16.46-£24.69
As a Shunter Driver you will need to have:
Full Class 1 HGV driving license
* A self starter with a positive attitude, who is capable of working on own initiative
Understanding of Supply Chain in the UK/I
Role of a Shunter driver:
? Ensure full trailers are taken on and empty trailers take off the infeed docks in a timely
manner as communicated by Operations.
? Ensure empty trailers are on the relevant outbound docks and secured for loading.
? Communicate with the Warehouse team to ensure drivers and sub-contractors are given the
correct trailer for the movement they are scheduled to.
? Ensure all trailers are moved around the site in a safe and secure manner following all site
health and safety procedures, reporting any incidents or near misses,
? Ensure customer material is not damaged during transportation to / from docks.
? Ensure all trailers are in good condition before use and liaise with Operations on site to report
any defects.
? Complete scheduled movements of trailers around the site, on / off docks and in the trailer
park.
