We are seeking a Senior Scientist with a special focus on Immunology Pharmacology and High‑throughput Screening to join the Antibody Pharmacology team in our Large Molecule Research department. This is a fixed‑term contract ending in December 2026.
In this role you will:
* Independently design and execute experiments with cell lines and/or primary cells using a range of tools and assay technologies.
* Isolation and culture of primary immune cells.
* Cell‑based assays.
* Flow cytometry surface and intracellular staining & analysis of flow cytometry results.
* Immunoassays using multiple technologies (ELISA, HTRF, AlphaLISA, MSD, etc).
* High‑throughput imaging.
* Arrayed screening including assay development and automation.
* Interpret experimental results and author reports & presentations.
* Communicate results, progress and bottlenecks to project teams and stakeholders.
* Conduct basic data analysis and apply principles of statistics.
* Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
* PhD or equivalent degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology or similar disciplines.
* Ability to independently design and execute experiments.
* Experience with cell culture and aseptic technique.
* Experience in flow cytometry and high‑throughput screening.
* Strong data analysis & interpretation skills.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Adaptability to changing business needs and willingness to learn new techniques.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Understanding of basic concepts in drug discovery.
* Familiarity with automation / liquid‑handling technology.
* Experience with functional assays, imaging technologies and handling of primary immune cells.
