We are seeking a talented and personable Self Employed Hair Stylist to join our new vibrant salon team. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional hair styling services, ensuring clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. Responsibilities
* Provide a wide range of hair styling services including cutting, colouring, blow-drying, and specialised treatments
* Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the salon environment
* Keep up-to-date with the latest hairdressing trends and techniques
* Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and loyalty
* Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise salon productivity
* Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and sterilised after each use
Qualifications
* Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related fields
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
* Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice
* Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
* Organised, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality service
* Previous experience in colour treatment, styling techniques, or specialised hair services is desirable but not essential
